Musical Mover and Shaker
Laura Escudé is a multifaceted personality in the music industry. Laura Escudé is a great modern example of an artist who seamlessly blends the worlds of the digital and organic music performance. Escudé has been riding the wave of music technology for years — she’s actually a product specialist for numerous brands, including x-tempo designs. At the same time, she is an avid violin player, and she plays crossover DJ sets regularly under the moniker Alluxe.
As much as Escudé is a performer, she is also involved behind the scenes in live show design and music programming. In this role, she’s worked with artists like Herbie Hancock, Jay Z, Kanye West, and Porter Robinson. Escudé also currently programs music for American Idol.
On top of playing shows herself and producing shows for others, Escudé is also an entrepreneur. Talk about a busy schedule! She is the CEO and founder of Electronic Creatives, a company that trains the programmers and operators of acts like The Weeknd, Iggy Azalea, Charlie XCX, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
